Who we are
Our owner, Juvenal Martinez, MD, has been practicing family medicine for over four decades, affecting countless lives along the way. His passion for the profession pushes beyond the walls of our office, evidenced by his roles consulting for the Baptist Quality Health Network and for Anchor Medical Research here in Miami. He prides himself on putting the patient first, instilling the values that reinforce that notion into each member of our staff. From one end of our office to the other, we carry his resolve to make our patients’ experience as comforting, reassuring, and informative as possible.
His cousin, Victor Martinez, MD, is our second-longest tenured physician who has been with us since 2002. Dr. Victor’s knack for getting to know his patients and his ability to listen and understand his patients’ needs is second to none. Whether you are just coming in for a cold or you’ve been struggling with an illness for a long time, Dr. Victor will make you feel as though you’re being cared for by a member of your own family. It’s an approach that can be found less and less these days, and one that we take pride in delivering to you.
Our advanced practice registered nurse, Yuneisy Ruiz, APRN, has been with us for over a decade, delivering expert care with swiftness and clear direction. Yuneisy takes great pride in her work, knowing that her patients trust their health to her, a responsibility so great that only the most knowledgeable, trustworthy professionals may be equipped with it. She has served countless patients during her time with us and has ensured each one of them leaves the office better equipped in their health journey than when they arrived.
Finally, our newest provider, Evelyn Hernandez, PA-C, is a physician’s assistant who joined us in 2025 after spending time with us as a student over a decade ago. Evelyn is already a favorite amongst our patients, breathing fresh life into our office every day. Her exhaustive approach and bright personality have begun to earn the trust and admiration of her colleagues, and we are confident she can deliver that to you.

Physician Services
Accessibility is essential for thorough primary care. These options highlight our commitment towards greater accessibility and flexibility for you!
In-person appointments, available as soon as the same day for established patients
Telemedicine appointments, best for non-severe issues and basic follow-ups
Annual Wellness Visits (AWV) for Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients, all-encompassing preventive care essential to maintaining your health through the years
Transitional care, available when recovering from an inpatient hospital visit and a crucial step in ensuring a safe and healthy return to your daily life
Additional Care
Along with the services you’d expect from your primary care physician, we offer supplementary care to make your health journey as seamless as possible.
In-house lab drawing (blood and urine), available the next day.
For patients keen on drawing labs in-house, we recommend calling ahead of time to ensure we can accommodate you.
Additionally, we require patients to fast for at least 10-12 hours before their draw. For patients arriving at open, that would mean beginning your fast anywhere between 9:00 pm and 12:00 am the evening prior.
Administrative Support
We conduct all of our administrative duties in-house to ensure a personalized level of care from check-in to check-out, and beyond.
